No matter how tough you think your life is, there is always someone who has to face challenges that are even tougher than yours. That’s why this year AJM Associates has elected to donate the proceeds for our upcoming “Deer Don’t See Orange” patch sales to The PATH Foundation.
About PATH Foundation
Passing Along The Heritage Foundation (PATH), formerly Children’s Charters, Inc, is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Their primary mission is to establish, create and/or steward opportunities for disadvantaged families and individuals, particularly the youth, with an emphasis on “outdoor heritage” and through such opportunities to encourage and develop the promotion, education and/or preservation of the same. PATH targets urban youth or those who do not have a parent or relative to take them hunting or fishing. Many are from single parent families and/or simply cannot afford the equipment. PATH also strives to assist handicapped children and adults, as well as disabled military veterans, who would like to go hunting or fishing but do not have the required equipment or access to the outdoors.
Why PATH?
As agents, we understand that building relationships with members of the community is crucial to understanding their needs. Giving our time, money and support to strengthen our communities provide a foundation to improve our neighborhood and protect its future. There aren’t enough words to describe the significance of giving back. Even the simple acts of goodwill — the ones we think of as “random acts of kindness” or “not a big deal” — are actually incredibly important.
In Michigan, the great outdoors provides for a vast number of opportunities to explore the riches that nature has to offer. Opportunities which may be bountiful for many are just out of reach for others. AJM Associates has selected to donate the proceeds to PATH because they provide those less fortunate such opportunities in our “backyard”.
Stay tuned in the month of August, AJM Associates will be sending out our “Deer Don’t See Orange” landing page where you can purchase your patch and help this charitable cause.
