On March 14, 2025, President Trump issued an executive order (EO) that immediately rescinded EO 14026. Beginning in 2022, EO 14026 had significantly increased the minimum wage for certain federal contractors working on contracts that were signed, renewed, or extended on or after January 30, 2022.
In the absence of EO 14026, those federal contractors must be paid at least as much as required by EO 13658.
The EO rescinding EO 14026 was signed by the President on March 14, 2025.
